Rainbird Recognizes Meritek

Meritek is proud to have been named one of Rainbird Corporation's "Suppliers
of the Year" for 2004. The two separate honors received by Meritek to
recognize its contribution to Rainbird's success during 2003-2004 are as follows:
Certified Supplier recognition, and an award recognizing Meritek's role in effecting
extraordinary cost savings for Rainbird. Pictured are Larry Sun and Jay
Uhm of Meritek, accepting the award from John Zwick, Barnie Wallace, and Sergio

Siemens Recognizes Meritek

On Thursday, September 21, Siemens Building Technologies, Incorporated's Landis Division in Buffalo Grove, IL recognized Meritek Electronics Corporation as a Siemens Certified Supplier. As Jim Carey, the Director of Quality Assurance, explained the certification program is designed to honor only the very best suppliers. Qualification is based on a 98 percent on-time delivery rate and 98 percent quality rate (i.e. non-rejected product) for a minimum of two six-month periods. Meritek, he pointed out, scored 100 percent in both categories over two six-month periods. Carey added that this division works with over 300 suppliers. From that supplier base, Meritek becomes only the fifteenth supplier to be bestowed with this honor.
